Demonstrate skills as a first responder in emergency care and treatment.

Develop plans and procedures for dealing with various emergency situations

Demonstrate knowledge of mitigation techniques for preventing or reducing loss from natural or manmade disasters.

Demonstrate knowledge of the basic concepts and operations applicable during and after disaster events.

Demonstrate a working knowledge of the various aspects of mass casualty management

Demonstrate the ability to interpret, analyse, and solve problems related to disasters while working as part of a team.

Implement principles and best practices in incident management.

Communicate effectively in written and oral form in disaster management situations.
