Supporting the college
Contributions to the HLSCC Fund from alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends are critical to fulfilling H. Lavity Stoutt Community College’s mission. Gifts not only support operations, they also help H. Lavity Stoutt Community College maintain the caliber of its academic offerings, attract exceptional students and help provide them with much-needed financial aid.
The Office of Institutional Advancement exists to foster understanding and support for HLSCC. It establishes long-lasting community relationships, enhances the image of the college, promotes educational opportunities at HLSCC, and builds financial resources to support our students, programmes, and projects. It accomplishes its mission through partnerships and the philanthropy of alumni, friends, corporations, foundations, and faculty and staff.
Working closely with the Fundraising Advisory Committee, composed of community and business leaders, the advancement team secures gifts and grants for areas where Government funding is not available.
