This programme seeks to prepare students with workplace ready skills. Students new to accountancy or already working in accounting or finance but have no qualifications can benefit from this programme and have an opportunity to progress towards external certification through the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). At the end of accounting courses which are aligned with ACCA, students will be encouraged to take the certifying external exam. Accounting software and tutorials are included in this programme.

Apply accounting standards and regulations in preparing financial statements.

Demonstrate the ability to use financial statements for making management decisions in a business environment.

Prepare, analyse, and interpret business financial statements for both internal and external use.

Prepare a cash flow statement; analyse and communicate the results.

Use accounting software and computer program effectively to communicate and analyse information related to accounting and business.

Use critical thinking skills to solve accounting problems in business situations.

Communicate effectively in written and oral form in business situations using accounting reports.

Apply ethical conduct in the accounting profession.
